The Lost City Of Z

This movie made me squirm. It felt like a soap opera instead of a movie, or a Reader's Digest Condensed Book in film form. So many scenes that might have been beautiful were instead made to seem inauthentic, somehow or other. A great many episodes had to be squashed together and thus truncated, having the effect of making the movie seem longer rather than swift (time flies only if you you believe). And my irritation grew each time a scene used the same yellow filter, no matter the place or time of day. Was this supposed to give the movie an old-timey tint? Note to the producers: don't do this next time.
